I will be popping down to Oriental City in a couple of weeks.
Does any one have any recommendations of shops to visit for Bento supplies?
Has anyone seen any good bargains recently...

When you say Oriental city you think about the Oriental City in Colindale London?
I went there on Tuesday!
You can find bentobox also in Japanese Center in Piccadilly Circus. |

| The best idea is to just pop along and see what there is. The last time I went there was a Sanrio shop, a shop called something like Tokio Lifestyle, and another Japanese homeware shop - all of these had bento items in them. You should also check out the Japanese place on the food court, as they serve bento type meals (restaurant bentos on laquered plates rather than in takeaway boxes) and the supermarket, which has a Japanese section full of great treats you can put in a bento box. |

| I did go to Colindale and the shops are good - I particularly like Tokyo Lifestyle as the have loads of plastic containers (and not just the usual sizes - they had some really good small containers which would be ideal for a fruit salad). |

That sounds like the Sanrio shop - sad. But if it's any consolation, it was quite expensive in there. You could probably get those items online cheaper - but then it's always fun to shop in an actual shop, obviously!
Did you get a chance to eat in their amazing food court? |
